The aroma table is a unique piece imagined for tasting and discovering the olfactory nuances that make up the Ruinart champagne. Using a steam and hammering technique, the original patina of the oak of the desks that have aged in quarries resurfaces, the motif takes on the texture drawn from the walls of these cavities dug by hand. The base in the shape of porcini mushrooms is in bronze, hand carved by Pierre Salagnac. Some areas are wrapped in swamp oak, then gilded and patinated to mix the two materials. The bronze hole bottoms take up the hammering of the wood and the patina of the foot. The two subjects are intimately mixed.
